The HR enterprise is comprised of three unique business units: Health, Health Sciences, and main campus. The Partnership serves as a strategic center responsible for planning and implementing strategic initiatives across the entire UCI HR enterprise. The Organizational Design Consultant will translate UCI Health’s strategy into a workforce plan to deliver the talent that drives the organization to meet its mission and vision – to Discover, Teach and Heal – to be the best place to give and get care. Working closely with key stakeholders (e.g. Medical Center and College of Health Sciences Leadership, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Finance, etc), the Organizational Design Consultant will anticipate and define the future talent needs of the UCI Health enterprise, assess readiness to compete in the labor market, and establish talent strategies to shape talent investments for the future. The incumbent will deliver optimal workforce capabilities - the right people in the right roles at the right time to execute on the strategy.

Required:
 
6 or more years direct experience in workforce planning, resource management, organizational design or human resources management.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Highly skilled in navigating organizational complexity. Incorporates excellent skills in change management programs on a regular basis. Expert knowledge of the organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions. Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision. Knowledge of the consulting process to effectively lead highly significant engagements from inception to conclusion.
 
Preferred:
 
Advanced degree preferred.
Strategic HR Business Partner (SHRBP) Certification preferred SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
