Position Summary:
This position is a contract position with a potential duration until mid-2026.
The Senior Program manager will perform a significant role for UCI Health taking leadership on a major expansion of UCI’s physical footprint, including implementation of technology for a new hospital building program. Involves managing technical projects having a defined beginning and end. Manages the project's framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams. Plans, coordinates and monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff and deliverables. Monitors the project from initiation through completion. Organizes and leads activities relating to the management and completion of projects. Applies wide-ranging experience to manage projects, up to and including the most complex across UCI Health. Incumbent leads project management for large scale projects including new sites and facilities. Incumbent is considered a subject matter expert influences and guides the project management methods and processes.
Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $93,700.00 Midpoint $152,500.00 Maximum $211,300.00
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Systems including 5 or more years large project/program management experience in a Healthcare environment (managed projects or programs with a budget of at least $10M)
Minimum 5 years of experience in working with multiple Epic (EHR) clinical application modules
Strong knowledge of clinical applications and workflows. Able to speak with authority to senior clinical stakeholders, and define and suggest improvements to workflows
Working knowledge of technology infrastructure for clinical buildings (telecoms, server, networking, and data center methodologies)
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Exceptional skills in report writing and making technical presentations
Proven skills in managing large and complex projects
Ability to manage multiple fast-paced technical projects
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification
Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
