Position Summary:
Incumbent serves as business analyst for IT Service Management (ITSM) projects and system administration of UCI Health's ServiceNow environment. Responsible for the implementation, support, maintenance, operations and upgrade of the ServiceNow solutions. Gathers requirements for ITSM projects, provides technical requirements to developers and acts as liaison between business process owners and developers. Provides day-to-day administration of ServiceNow access, groups and licensing; provides initial (Tier 1) support level for basic customer issues for ServiceNow users. Develops training materials and in-service sessions as necessary. Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end solutions within ServiceNow, including architecting technical implementations of IT and business processes, and coordinating those efforts with IT Management and UCI SN administrators.
Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $87,200.00 Midpoint $125,400.00 Maximum $163,600.00
Required Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Demonstrated experience with project management
Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow System Administrator experience
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and five years of relevant experience in IT Service Delivery, or a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
Ability to gather business requirements and communicate with technical staff
Knowledge of Engineering and Project Management Life Cycles
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with clients, peers and management
Ability to skillfully react to a fluid and constantly changing work environment
Ability to generate roadmaps to include systems development life cycle (SDLP)
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across IT and management staff
Ability to work under minimal supervision on projects including configurations, installation and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
ServiceNow System Administrator certification or relevant experience (must be able to demonstrate and document expertise)
Experience with Allscripts and/or EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Prior experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or similar responsibility
