Position Summary: 
Incumbent serving as the technical administrator for hardware, operating systems, and network management. Plans and coordinates the installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software components. Work may involve central or departmental computer systems and networks. Includes web systems administration. Applies advanced systems infrastructure concepts objectives to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Selects methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Gives presentations to associated team and other technical units. Evaluates new technologies including performing moderate to complex cost / benefit analyses
 
 
Salary Range:
 
Annual Rate  Minimum  $95,300.00                           Midpoint               $140,400.00                         Maximum             $185,500.00
 
 
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Demonstrated technical ability to install and maintain Windows operating systems
Experience working with Imaging and storage solutions
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
IS: Minimum 5 years of directly related experience to Enterprise Computing as a mid to senior level staff
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and problem solve and discriminate between important and unimportant details, recognize inconsistencies between facts, and draw correct inferences from information
Demonstrated skill to work independently and to prioritize and manage a relative number of simultaneous requests and to work on tasks which may not be clearly defined
Knowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer system
Ability to maintain a positive working attitude and contribute both as an individual and team member to accomplish the goals and objectives of HSIS
Advanced knowledge and experience with Storage, Rubrik Backup, including computing design, provisioning, and tuning
Advanced knowledge and experience with Storage Architect design, backup solutions.
Advanced knowledge and experience with Azure core services; VMs, Blobs, Key Vaults
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces
Expert knowledge of system administration and security protocols for client/server environment deployed using Windows.
Detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of Infrastructure technologies including clustering, redundancy, etc.
Experience in Windows Active Directory Administration and Group Policy Objects
Experience on both Windows Server (2008 and up to the latest versions) and Windows Desktop (7 and up to the latest versions) Operating Systems
In-depth knowledge of DC Technologies (Active Directory, GPOs, Wintel, VMware, DNS, DHCP, Networks, Firewall, security etc.)
Must be willing and able to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed
Disaster Recovery and ITIL principles
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing Storage Area Networks (e.g. EMC, HP, IBM)
Experience managing tape archive systems (e.g. LTO, DLT, IBM 3490)
Knowledge of medical and academic industry structures
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
