Position Summary:

This recruitment is for a Temporary IT HelpDesk Support (Business Technical Support Analyst II) position through UCI’s internal temporary service. Schedule is Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm, located on-site at the UC Irvine campus in Irvine. 

This position will be supporting the OIT Desktop Team in an enterprise project currently in-progress. The project involves migrating users to One-Drive. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle operational tickets related to the project
  • Ensuring users sync before migration night
  • Support unforeseen issues
  • Encryption
  • Ensuring computers have 11GB free of disk space
  • Help with re-booting offline machines
  • Tracking down users
  • Various prep tasks

Compensation Range: $26.81/hr.

Required:

  • Experience in IT HelpDesk support, or similar role
  • Experience with Laptops & WiFi Connectivity
  • Experience imaging computers, familiarity with MDT a plus
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • Knowledge of MS Active Directory
  • Familiarity with a ticketing system; Service Now is a plus

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Windows RDP
  • Previous project management experience
