Position Summary:
 
Under the supervision of the Manager, the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will provide clinical research support to the Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (A3), a unit under the UCI Institute for Precision Health (IPH) by providing comprehensive coordination and data management of research studies and sponsored clinical trials according to Good Clinical Practices (GCP), internal standard operating procedure (SOPs), and University policies and procedures. Incumbent is responsible for supporting the Director in all aspects of the research studies and clinical trials including activities such as, but not limited to study coordination, site training, data entry and collection methods, preparation and submission of regulatory documents (IRB, IACUC, RSC, etc.), participate in patient recruitment and scheduling, complete and maintain research records and forms as well as liaison with study sponsors and CROs, investigators and regulatory agencies. Incumbent will also provide assistance in data curation, identifying and selecting problems for investigation and planning experiments, which may include but not limited to literature searches, data review, database creation and maintenance, manuscript preparation, and submissions. Incumbent will also assist in researcher requests for the Imaging Services Honest Broker. Incumbent may also provide assistance with project assistance for students and visiting researchers.

Required:
 
3 to 5 years of related work experience.
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience.
Ability to establish and maintain files and records. Ability to interact with the public, faculty, and staff. Ability to think critically in compiling and reviewing data from various sources. Research experience especially with IRB, HIPAA and other regulatory documents, study coordination and familiar with GCP and ethical conduct of research. High level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Database creation and maintenance using Excel and/or other relational databases. Demonstrated ability to perform scientific research including properly evaluating information and preparing concise, well-organized reports and correspondence.
 
Preferred:
 
Familiar with internal systems such as EPIC, Redcap, OnCore, and Kuali Financial System Familiar with UC system experience and knowledge of UC policies and procedures. Experience in clinical coordination. Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)
