Position Summary: 
Incumbent provides care to an assigned group of cardiology patients, including the oversight and administration of all cardiac stress tests within the inpatient and outpatient setting. The candidate will also perform EndoPat testing, tilt table tests and transesophageal echocardiograms under moderate sedation in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position requires traveling between clinic sites.  Evaluates patient clinical needs and outcomes, effectiveness of plan of care and revises plan or make referrals as necessary.
Salary Range: 
Hourly Rate  Minimum   $51.86                   Midpoint               $61.53                   Maximum $71.19
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current California RN license
Current ACLS certification
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
6 months current stress testing experience
Knowledge of AHA Stress Test guidelines
Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment
Must be available to work overtime when required.
Must be able to participate in on-call rotation
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Minimum of two years nursing experience in an acute care setting
Competent in delivery of moderate sedation and recovery
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support(Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Critical Care or related Certification(s)
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
Previous experience working in a Cardiology clinical setting
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
