Position Summary: 
The incumbent performs operational level duties with major emphasis on patient care delivery. Conducts in-depth interviews with patient and/or family, constructs comprehensive medical histories, performs initial and periodic medical exams, evaluates patient behaviors, directly performs or orders diagnostic studies and interprets finished results, and develops and implements long- and short-range treatment plans. Utilizes a team based approach to delivering patient care services.
 
 
Salary Range: 
 
Hourly Rate  Minimum   $70.44            Midpoint       $83.57               Maximum $96.69
 
Required Qualifications:
  
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to obtain UCIMC Allied Health Professional Privileges prior to hire
1 year previous experience working as a Nurse Practitioner
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
 
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support(Required)
Nurse Practitioner(Required)
Registered Nurse(Required)
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a clinician in OB/GYN
Previous experience working as a clinician in pediatric setting
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
