Position Summary:
 
The UCI Paul Merage School of Business recently launched and is expanding its Leadership Development Institute (LDI) team. LDI was designed to provide individuals and organizations relevant and research-based solutions in order to build sustainable leadership going forward. By bringing together the latest learning technologies and leveraging a new client engagement strategy, LDI will deliver unique programming through its core structure of clarity, alignment and growth. Through customized curriculums, leaders can sustainably cultivate a cycle of resilience, engagement and reinvention.
 
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, Program Services and consistent with the objectives of The Paul Merage School of Business and UCI policy guidelines, the Program Manager, Leadership Development Institute, is responsible for two key areas: Educational program management and educational program execution.
 
Compensation Range:
 
$23.23/hr - $27.30/hr

Required:
 
3-5 years’ higher education program management experience preferably in Executive Education or Continuing Education environment.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Working knowledge of current public education programs and trends.
Working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives.
Working knowledge of conducting needs assessment.
Good reading, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and good presentation skills.
Working knowledge of delivering public educational programs.
Working skills to produce and deliver programs.
Good analytical skills to understand how business needs can be addressed through the design and delivery of training programs.
Skill in using business software systems in the completion of work assignments; i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
 
Special Conditions Required:
 
Occasional weekend and evening work hours supporting programs This position is a hybrid position with some on campus work and some work from home ability but individual should reside within a commutable distance to the UC Irvine campus.
