About UCIAA The UCI Alumni Association (UCIAA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting our alumni with each other and the university by presenting opportunities to network, be involved, support our students and serve as advocates for UC Irvine and the University of California. The UCI Alumni Association was established in 1968 and later separately incorporated in 1975 as a California nonprofit.
 
Reporting in the interim to the Director, Reunion Programs, the Alumni Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing all front desk duties for the UCI Alumni Association and will provide support to the Membership and Reunion Programs. The incumbent will also serve as a contributing team member on the Alumni Relations team and will assist team members in attaining department goals.

Ability to balance, plan and work on multiple projects with multiple supervisors at a given time. Resourcefulness in finding appropriate solutions to problems and initiative in presenting alternatives and implementing solutions to ensure effective change. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent diplomacy and interpersonal skills. The ability to take initiative with projects and to communicate effectively with diverse, high-level groups of individuals in a customer-service and professional manner. Understands when to escalate to Director/Senior Associate Director. Proven ability to work independently as well as serve as member of a team and collaborate with colleagues. Ability to work some nights and weekends for event support as needed. Proven ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Desktop Publishing software, and computerized management information systems. Ability to anticipate problems and take necessary action to eliminate or mitigate potential negative effects. Ability to prioritize projects and solve problems in a strategic manner. Ability to learn and correctly interpret, apply, and explain the structure, policies, procedures, pricing, and benefits regarding UCIAA membership.
 
Preferred:
 
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Experience with front desk support Knowledge of UCI Alumni Association; Working or volunteer experience with UCI Alumni Association General understanding of the UCI Alumni Association membership tiers Graphic design knowledge a plus Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM; Experience using Marketing Cloud Working knowledge of Desktop publishing programs; Experience using Kuali Financial System (KFS)

Able to work some nights and weekends as needed.
