Position Summary:

This job posting is for a Temporary Senior Financial Analyst within University of California Irvine’s Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (CFCCC). This role is a fully remote position 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Per our Employment policy applicant must reside in California upon time of hire. 

UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) continuously seeks applicants that are interested and available to work in Financial Analyst roles on temporary assignments at the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.

Duties for Temporary Senior Financial Analyst include but are not limited to:

• Provide financial management, monitoring, reporting, and analysis (e.g., budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing) for assigned areas from multiple complex fund sources including contracts and grants, philanthropic funds and institutional support funds
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: analytical support for complex budget and financial analysis projects
• Grant Budgets and Budget Justifications: develops budgets and generates reports to monitor spending and fund usage
• Budget Projections: prepares accurate financial budgets providing forecasted income and expenditures
• Fund Management: manage fund transfers, process MTFs, reconciles accounts, serves as backup payroll processing

Compensation Range:

$35 -$42 (hourly) is the expected pay range within the full salary range of $34.15 -$61.44 (hourly)

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent education
• Contracts and grants experience 
• Clinical trials experience

Preferred:

• CNG experience

Temporary Employment:

• This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department.
