Position Summary: 

Incumbent provides routine informatics support for Epic EMR and Ancillary Departmental Systems involving Anesthesia and Inpatient Areas. Incumbent provides support related to Device Integration as well as Bedside IT support for a number of different applications for Clinical end-users.

Salary Range:

Annual Rate  Minimum  $90,500.00                         Midpoint            $130,100.00                       Maximum            $169,700.00

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Working knowledge of wireless network configurations and limitations related to a clinical environment

Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal and/or external customers

4+ years desktop support experience in a networked business environment

Must carry a pager/phone and provide on-call support for IT related issues

Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory

Extensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer system

Prior experience supporting clinical end users in a rapidly changing environment

Prior experience supporting and configuring bio medical device interfacing to documentation systems

Ability to independently problem solve Desktop issues

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Ability to effectively work with key stakeholders to successfully understand and deliver desired outcomes

Experience with Device Integration software such as iSirona and Capsule

Extensive experience with supporting and troubleshooting Windows 7 as well as Windows Server 2012 and up

Prior experience supporting and configuring BioMedical devices interfacing to documentation systems such as Epic

Ability to independently problem solve end-user Desktop and OS issues

Experience with Device Integration middleware such as iSirona and Capsule or DCX

Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and evenings

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other healthcare related field with course work in systems analysis and development

Prior experience supporting end users in the Clinical environment

Prior experience supporting Biomedical Device Integration
