Position Summary:

the UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute is reimagining healthcare, complementing conventional treatments with integrative services that are informed by science and incorporated into the training of future health professionals to advance a model of team-based, whole-person care that helps patients achieve their best heath.

Total Compensation:

$33.63 - $36.37 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $32.32 - $38.59 (Hourly Rate)

 

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic or related field

Board or Therapy Certification/Credentials for Therapeutic Specialty, such as Board Certified in Music Therapy or ADTA Registered Dance/Movement Therapist

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong ability to handle and cope with mental and emotional stressors Demonstrated experience working with patients of various ages Demonstrated experience in assessing program needs and developing therapeutic interventions


 

Preferred:

Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Previous experience working in a mental health setting
