Position Summary:
 
Under supervision, this individual will assist with research-related responsibilities to support the execution of these projects. This position supports a professor and highly ranked administrator with an extensive research portfolio. This incumbent should have extensive researching skills with an understanding of qualitative and quantitative data analyses, excellent writing and editing skills, and creating presentation decks. Understanding of public health is a plus.

Required:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or substantial experience) in a related health-related field. MPH preferred but not required 
  • Data analysis skills preferred (quantitative and/or qualitative). 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to relate easily and effectively with people within and outside the University, including both strong written and verbal communications. 
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. Skill to use computer software programs at the level of sophistication required for general office work. 
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the Internet and how to conduct searches. 
  • Excellent writing skills to prepare/compose/review a variety of communications, primarily data for presentations and manuscripts. APA and MLA formatting efficient.
