Position Summary:
The incumbent assists in project planning activities and related communications among project managers, team members, project owners and Information Technology Services (ITS) management. Coordinates department purchasing as requested and follows up to ensure timely delivery/receipt. Tracks general status and provides guidance on terms and conditions of contracts pertaining to ITS solutions. Provides administrative, organizational and analytical support to multiple managers within ITS and to the department as a whole. Contacts are primarily internal to the department, but may also be external.

Salary Range:
Hourly Rate Minimum $29.26 Midpoint $40.28 Maximum $51.29
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to act independently to solve problems and develop recommendations for approval
Demonstrated advanced computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a role that provides administrative support to a leadership position
Experience in utilizing productivity applications, and ability to maintain, update and troubleshoot applications
Experience using Visio
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Working knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems
Ability to analyze contract terms and conditions and effectively make clear and concise recommendations
Demonstrated ability to create and produce complex reports using computer programs such as Excel and Access
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting information services unit
Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and training
Finance or contract/legal background preferred.
