Position Summary: 

The RCP provides services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by physicians.  Tasks include basic respiratory care, emergency respiratory care, ventilator, management and pulmonary testing.  Maintaining department appearance, documents per department standard, be proactive in respiratory drive protocols: 02 weaning, creating new 02 orders, walking desaturation study, proactive with patient pare plan, recommending to physician proper treatment plan that best suit the patient need.  RCP can also be used as a resource for EKG.

Required Qualifications:

Mandatory: Current RCP license with the State of California, Minimum of 1 year acute care experience, Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.  Preferred: Registered or Registry Eligible with the National Board of Respiratory Care
