The Team Challenge Coordinator is responsible for planning and developing programs, policies and budgets, organizing activities and supervising all aspects of the Team Challenge program and the Odyssey High Ropes Course Facility. The specific duties include identifying, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating staff; scheduling TeamUp programs, ordering, maintaining and storing equipment, assist in promoting and marketing Team Challenge programs and activities; maintaining detailed records and preparing participation reports; assist with budget preparation; development of on and off campus experiential education programs including writing content and identifying off-campus outreach opportunities.
 
Compensation Range:
 
$44,500.00 - $65,000.00

Required:
 
Three years of broad-based experience in supervising recreational experiential education or team building programs. Three years of successful experience giving rhetorical presentations on the topics of team building or experiential education to groups with a wide variety of interests.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Red Cross CPR required. Standard First Aid Training Certification required.
Bachelor’s degree in Experiential Education/Recreation or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of broad-based experience in supervising recreational experiential education or team building programs Three years of successful experience giving rhetorical presentations on the topics of team building or experiential education to groups with a wide variety of interests.
Skill in working independently to develop program objectives and methodology in attaining those objectives Broad knowledge and understanding of a wide range of team building programs including the latest technology, current recommended standards and trends.
Demonstrated knowledge of high ropes course operations and management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across the organization.
Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members from a variety of ethnic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
Demonstrated skill in current risk management practices.
Demonstrated skill in training, coordinating and supervising program staff members.
Demonstrated knowledge of ACCT standards.
 
Preferred:
 
Knowledge of rock climbing and outdoor adventure programming.
 
Special Conditions Required:
 
Ability to successfully pass FBI and DOJ Criminal Check.
