Position Summary:
 
The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences spans a continuum from discovery, development, and delivery of new drugs, devices, and diagnostics all the way to optimizing medication therapy in patients and patient populations. The school offers a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, MS in Pharmacology, PhD in Pharmacological Sciences, and Doctor of Pharmacy PharmD. https://pharmsci.uci.edu.
 
The incumbent contributes to the success of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice through supporting a variety of administrative operations. Responsibilities include functions related to finance, facilities, student services, human resources, academic personnel, events, communications, information technology, and day to day operations.
 
Compensation Range:
 
$27.45 - $34.39

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing. Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
 
Preferred:
 
Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
 
Special Conditions Required:
 
Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
